My grandmother died last night.

Honestly, I feel alright. She had been getting steadily down hill the past few years and was only receiving comfort care when she died. It is hitting Dad really hard. So I am more just being around for him.

Seeing that everyone in the exchange is being so understanding about the delay is a huge relief for me though.

Yeah, family deaths are complicated. They hit everyone differently. It's good that you can be there for your dad.
