Overload My Fannishness

I have been fannishly overloaded.

1. Finally getting to play the My Little Pony cellphone game. It doesn't suck and is more fun than most games like it I have tried.
2. Saw An Adventure in Space and Time. I loved it and the scene at the end was just beautiful. Though I was kind of sad that there was no mention at all of Peter Cushing.
3. A video wishing Doctor Who a happy 50th birthday from various scifi actors including my first fannish crush, William Shatner (there is only ONE Kirk).
4. Premier of My Little Pony season 4 and the Doctor Who 50th anniversary are just hours away. I have the day off of work for it. Of course the one thing I wanted for the 50th was Paul McGann back and I got that in the special.
5. I just discovered they are working on the first Sci-Fi museum in Washington, DC. Anyone feel like a roadtrip?

Daddy & Sweets

So, I participate in Yuleswaps. This year I was getting candy from England. My package came an hour before the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who. My father also likes Who and knew I was getting candy from England.

As I am opening the package Dad is sitting there, bouncing like a little boy and saying "Are there any Jelly Babies? Are there any Jelly Babies?"

I pull Jelly Babies from the packaging and he instantly claims them as his own. Then he eats the whole thing before the the special actually started.

I love Dad. He can be such a kid sometimes.
