State of the Nep
Feb. 26th, 2015 05:43 pmI picked up Hyperdevotion Noire yesterday. I'm not very good at tactical RPGs. I am so bad I have yet to beat any of the ones I own. So easy difficulty for me! I am enjoying the generals. So far I have recruited Lid (Metal Gear), Resta (Agarest War) and Lee-Fi (Street Fighter). All of them are pretty fun and enjoyable characters. Lee-Fi and Resta are especially useful in battle. I am in the process of recruiting Estelle (Dragon Quest) and Ain Al (Final Fantasy).
The one thing I don't like so far is the Secretary. As far as nameless self insert male characters go the Producer from Producing Perfection was better. This just feels like some vehicle to make Noire a waifu.
The upcoming Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II is looking good. I don't think Plutia is going to be in it since she wasn't in the opening. It is a shame, she is my favorite goddess.
