Dear Writer,

I am very open to any length of fic.  I have read amazing fic that was right at the minimum word count and fic that was much higher than that.  I don’t care if it is first, second or third person.  I am fine with gen to graphic sex.  Character death and violence is fine.  I love F/F and F/M.  I don’t actively seek out M/M but having it in a fic won’t bother me.  Rape, noncon and dubcon are all fine.

 

Crossovers, AUs and fusions are all amazing.  I love canon divergence.  I also like stories that fit in canon.  I have a special fondness for crossover ships too.

 

I’ve been kind of wanting something dark lately.  I don’t have any specific desires, just something dark.  I’m going to go ahead and say you can do whatever you want and go however you want with a dark fic.

 

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon | Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon  

Shiva Shingetsu Astarte | Sailor Astarte

 

Yep, I will freely admit that I am the one that nominated Astarte.  If NPT had or based matching I would have selected more than the one character to give options. 

 

I really love this obscure Sailor Senshi.  I feel so bad for her.  She only gets to be in one musical (and a remake of it).  She gets possessed by the badguy.  She never really becomes friends with the other Senshi despite Usagi trying.  She never gets saved and has to be killed off.  She is full of self-doubt about not having a planet.

 

If you haven’t seen the musical with Astarte in it and want to I recommend you watch Kessen / Transylvania no Mori (Kaiteiban) - Saikyou no Kataki Dark Cain no Nazo, the remake, as opposed to the original.  The remake has a bit more screen time for Astarte and gives her a little more characterization than the original.  The entire musical is on youtube with fansubs.  In fact here is the first part: https://youtu.be/EwMSU0uh0Kg

 

This is a character that I would be happy to receive anything at all for.  I do have a few ideas of my own though:

                -Sailor Astarte during the Silver Millennium.  What was she like? What was her duties?  I’ve imagined her as one of Queen Serenity’s senshi.  Did she have a planet that was destroyed in the conflict with Beryl?

                -Crystal Tokyo based fic.  I am normally not a fan of Crystal Tokyo, but if it was a story focused on Astarte being reborn in that time period and maybe joining up with Saturn and Chibi Moon, that would be great.

                -What would Astarte have been like if she had been part of a different Sailor Moon continuity?  I know both anime, live action and manga.

                -Canon divergence where Sailor Moon managed to save her.  Maybe at a cost?

                -Friendship or shipfic with any other senshi or a villain from one of the other canons (ie not with a musical villain)

 

Final Fantasy X & Final Fantasy X-2  

Yuna (Final Fantasy X & X-2)

 

Yuna is one of my top three favorite Final Fantasy characters.  The other two are Faris and Lightning.  Yes, I am aware that all three of my favorites can magically change their clothing.  I just love how emotionally strong Yuna is.  She is a very determined young woman.  I also adore that in X-2 she got to have the teenage rebellion stage she never got to have before.  I am not a fan of Tidus/Yuna.  It was one of those things that as I initially played Final Fantasy X I liked it.  After beating both games though, and thinking about it, I just don’t see it lasting as a long term relationship.  I can see them remaining friends and treasuring what they did have, but I just don’t see it as a love that would last.  In fact I don’t really ship Yuna with any of the other Final Fantasy X & X-2 characters.  Now, if you want to do a crossover ship of her with any other Final Fantasy character, that would be cool.

 

                I think this is the fandom that I am most interested in crossovers and fusions.  I just love seeing Final Fantasy characters in the worlds of other RPGs like Persona, Wild Arms or Suikoden.  I also love things that crossover multiple Final Fantasy characters either in a modified world or in something crossing worlds.

 

                I’m also really interested in how Final Fantasy X is the distant past of VII.  I want to see how the return of Sin at the end of the audio drama is dealt with.  I feel like it will end with all the beckoned being sent again.  Is it going to spiral and get worse before it gets better?  I also have a particular love of the psychic dressphere and would love to see something done with that.

 

Doctor Who (1963)  

Fifth Doctor

 

I wasn’t going to request this fandom this year.  I didn’t even nominate it, but I was debating back and forth and decided to add it in. 

 

I don’t want fic shipping the Doctor with anyone.   Now, as for the other characters you can go crazy shipping them amongst each other.  I do honestly like all four of Nyssa, Tegan, Adric and Turlough.  So you can use whatever combo of them you want if you decide to include them.

 

I love historical stories and would love to see one set outside of the UK.  I don’t really care where.  Don’t worry about it being perfectly historical compliant or anything like that.  One thing in particular that interests me are the Wright Brothers.  I also really love Ainley’s Master.  Just seeing his crazy plots and how he shows up the next time are really fun.  Something low-key and the Doctor just having a really bad day would be fun. 

 

I am okay with pulling from modern Doctor Who, but please don’t use the Expanded Universe.  In particular I like 9, Martha, 11, Clara and Missy.

 

My Little Pony: Equestria Girls  

Sunset Shimmer

 

Sunset has become my favorite pony, but right now I am interested in her life in the human world.  Where does she live?  Is she in foster care? Has she been adopted?  If she is in foster care did she spend time living on the streets when she first arrived?  How is her friendship with the other girls going?  Does Sunset have a doppelganger somewhere?  Does she have plans after graduation?  Has she regained the use of any of her unicorn magic?  What is the significance of the fire wings in the video “My Past Is Not Today”?  She is shown riding a horse in “Friends Through the Ages”, how and when did she learn?  What is her reaction to encountering horses and normal ponies?  Can she communicate with them or able to read their body language better than most humans?  What about some magical/occult threats that she and the others might have to deal with?  Maybe having to deal with the human world counterparts of someone like Chrysalis?   Does she try to help the Dazzlings after their defeat?  I especially love Aria Blaze if you decided to go with that idea.

 

Shipping wise I am most interested in Sunset with the human Applejack, human or pony Twilight Sparkle, or Aria Blaze.  However, I am fine with her being shipped with anyone, so if you have an idea, go wild.  In fact, go wild in general if you have an idea of any kind that you really want to do.

 

Dangan Ronpa - All Media Types

Toko is definitely one of my favorite Dangan Ronpa characters.  I can see a lot of myself in her, actually.  Okay, I don’t stalk a blonde haired boy, write romance novels or have a serial killer split personality, but I have had a lot of her self-confidence issues from bullying.

 

I’d like to see her relationship with her classmates or the underclassmen for Dangan Ronpa 2 before losing memories.  I am especially interested in seeing her with a friendship with another female character, especially an unlikely one.  I’d kind of enjoy an AU with Kirigiri trying to track down Toko and Genocide Jill.  It would be interesting to see Sonia fangirling over Toko and trying to become BFFs with her.  Toko’s relationship with Togami has so many problems, but I love it so much.  I would love anything with those two together.  I also really like Mukuro and it would be interesting for the two of them to build up their self-confidence and self-worth together.  What would have happened if Genocide Jill had made her first appearance earlier?  What if Genocide Jill had spilled the beans about the world earlier?

 

I’ve played 1 and 2.  I’ve read IF.  I am waiting for the English release of Ultimate Despair Girls, so minor spoilers for that are fine, but please don’t give away the entire plot.
