Stolen Christmas
Dec. 13th, 2012 07:28 amI normally don't post about personal issues, because seriously who wants to hear about my life?
My father is a police officer. Not only that he is a sergeant. He works evening shift. All the supervisor's are gone from the night shift for next three weeks on Sunday and Monday due to either injury or vacation time that was scheduled long ago. My father has to be the night shift supervisor on Sunday's and Monday's for the next three weeks. This means he is working evening and night shift Christmas Eve, sleeping Christmas morning and then going back in Christmas afternoon. We won't be able to all have Christmas together because he needs his sleep. The same thing is happening for New Years.
It is bad when you wake up and your mother who normally speaks proper English and doesn't swear is swearing up a storm.
